CLASSICAL MEETS CONTEMPORARY
What started as a group of friends playing together in college, has over the years matured into a band of parents who just enjoy creating and playing the kind of music that they grew up with. With influences from across the gamut of Bengali music — Baul, Tagore, Anjan Dutta, Salil Chowdhury — Panchforon has been playing both covers and originals since 2011.

With shows all over the Northeast corridor, from Hartford to Boston and Westchester to Rochester, we are no strangers to traveling. But the sight of an audience that gets off its feet to dance to our music is the perfect reward. What started in 2011 has now spawned into a dozen shows, at various Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja and Nababarsha celebrations across the country. Could your hometown be next?
